The interesting point with Joanna Still, is that the mark she used for her married name of Joanna Harrisson, is very similar to that of Jane Hamlyn's. Occasionally there is some confusion.

Talking of confusion (1) there are two almost identical threads for Joanna Still and (2) Harrisson is her married name; though she only used it professionally for a few years.

Excellent. Now I know where to put this:

Red earthenware plate 23.5 cm across; decorated with wax resist pattern, more or less abstract but with a feeling of some kind of sea life churning amongst the waves. One of her online biographies contains the slightly surprising information that between studying at the University of Aix-en-Provence and Harrow School of Art she worked on a trawler in the North Pacific.
