Isn't the slipware or agateware marked Dunster with a G (like Naomi's above) actually Protean pottery? Set up in Dunster by H J Gee in 1959 according to Goddens.

An interesting thought. I can't say I had heard of Mr. Gee's pottery until you mentioned it and the piece you cite doesn't look typical "Fishley Holland". However, in Godden it does give Gee's pottery mark as

Interesting point. I I'd-ed it via the Dunster page on StudioPottery.com website where there is an example of agate ware, and an example of an impressed DUNSTER mark which was introduced by his children, one of whom is called George, so I thought the G might be for George.
