Unknown Bizen Ware Vase, Japanese kanji markings
Hello All, my knowledge of Asian Ceramics is none too good - only learned today that this is (I think) bizen-ware. It feels rather heavy, but i'm drawn to it in a lovely naive way. Mark is tricky so posted in both directions. Any thoughts anyone it certainly has charm :) ?

That top would worry me. From the picture it looks somewhat malformed. As for the marks. You need someone who can interpret the script. You might well find that on some of the Facebook groups that specialise in Japanese pottery

Yes, looks right for Bizen. The inscribed square looks like the kiln mark - you might find it here - http://www.e-yakimono.net/html/bizen-markings.html
Very nice to have it signed, presumably by the potter. I can’t read kanji so you’d need to try one of the Japanese art and ceramics groups on Facebook where there are Japanese speakers who can translate ii
