Hello all,

Struggling to find the potter for this unusual plate - it was bought in Suffolk from the Isaac Button collection and came with a lot of pots from his close friends the Fourniers - I have even seen the same mark advertised in their local auctions as a Sheila Fournier piece but the marks don't correspond to her work but indicates it is from around that area. Does anyone have a similar piece or know who the potter is? The mark looks strongly to be R with an interwoven J but I could be mistaken it could possibly be BL or KJ..

It is unusual in some ways for this plate to be in Isaac's collection as the decoration is quite abstract for his more practical aesthetical taste.. Photo doesnt do it justice - its rather nice.. Ideas Anyone Shrugs
