Nice piece,
Dry glazes. Fairly unusual in Studio Pottery.
Bryan Newman of Aller Pottery comes to mind. A lot of his later work was dry glazes. He had a number of apprentices, few of which are recorded. And this has a feel of a sort of experimental very accomplished student piece, trying to see how far one could go. Namely the signature, and the fish decoration. Which is possibly slightly too much on what is a lovely base vase.
