Benny Motzfeldt (Norway)

Benny Motzfeldt was a leading glass maker from Norway.  She lived from 1909-95 and worked for Randsfjord, Plus glass and also had her own studio in the 1970s.  Most pieces are signed or initialed on the base and she often left the pontil mark un-ground. There is a deconstructive feel to much of her work.  Bubbles, inclusions, lumpy production are typical features of her work.  There are production pieces and unique items to be collected.
