Would love to know the manufacturer of this shirt. Sorry about quality of image. It's a still from a 70s tv programme (John Birger Way's of Seeing)

I don’t know anything about shirts but that pattern looks very familiar from TV programmes of the time :)

Ben Sherman was a trendy manufacturer at the time but I couldn't say if it was one of theirs. There may be back catalogues of their designs and fabric patterns around to consult.

I totally get the struggle of trying to identify a shirt manufacturer from a blurry image, but hopefully someone will be able to help out!

I was around at the time but it doesn't look familiar therefore I suspect that it wasn't from a large manufacturer.
John Simons ran various men's clothing outlets in London from before that date and the business is still in existence and now operated by his son, although John is still around. I suspect if anyone would know it would be him.
You might be able to contact the business.
