Please help me identify this - probably early than C20th but I know you lot know almost everything between you.

The silver plated lid is marked for Israel Sigmund Greenberg around 1880.
The porcelain pot has no marks except for the gold dashes on its base. The lid and pot fit together well but I have no idea if they started out life together.
Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure that it's James Kent, possibly called Golden Osaka, first quarter of the 20th century.

ooh yes! i think you're spot on. so the lid probably did have a previous life then. Or I could have just got my dates wrong!
