This looks to be a fine pair of POLDRATE Pottery vases possibly made in the 1980s. The Pottery was established by one Alison Robinson and no longer produces works. However there is an Arts & Crafts Workshop, in East Lothian, which continues with the name Poldrate. They may be able to give you some information.
Alison Robinson can be contacted at Bridge Pottery in Edinburgh.
