W. Moorcroft Ltd. Burslem (Staffs).

The facsimile signature (for Walter) is very common, W M with a stroke underneath. You will see this more often than the full signature which is W.Moorcroft. As others mentioned previously, all Moorcroft pieces have the impressed mark, which varies according to age. Plenty of examples can be found in google images.

William's pieces are marked in a similar way, sometimes W.M. sometimes W.Moorcroft, along with impressed marks, or a printed mark if the piece was made during his stint at Macintyre.

Whilst clearing my grandmas house we have found a moorecroft bowl, could any of you fine folk gove me any information on it? i have found similar designs online but nothing identical, or with the actual signature on the back

If you try Moorcroft you will find some info for sure, I hope this helps in your search

I think this is Anemone, and, yes, do leave the "e" out of Moorcroft for best results.

One can certainly see the attraction of Modern Moorcroft. While not to everyone's taste, they really do make  a statement, and the decoration is beautiful. Rachel Biahop and Emma Bossons.

This vase is just over 8" tall. It has the Florian Ware mark and is impressed with 5: is 5 a date? The reg; No is 326471
