Large Impressionist O/C likely Cambodian - Angkor Wat - Signed & Annotated

I recently purchased this large (circa 15" x 40") quality oil on canvas painting, impressionist in style - signed at lower right and "annotated" on the reverse.  It likely depicts the famous landmark of Angkor Wat - an understandably populara subject for both skilled and tourist art.  I have already posted on an Asian art specific forum but wanted to share with the 20th century group as well.  Welcome any comments.  I can only speculate as to the age - back of the canvas suggests it has some years - I'm thinking it dates from the 1970s.
