Unknown Ceramic Jug, possibly Italian 1960s??
Hello again,
Wondered if anyone had any thoughts about the makers of this tall slender jug with stopper, possibly an oil or vinegar bottle.
It is made of a white clay with sgraffito and enamel paint decoration.
It bears no identifying marks at all. I thought it was possibly Italian, maybe Fratelli Fanciullacci?
With its stopper it stands 16" tall and I guess it dates to the 1960s.
Any help gratefully received.

I've searched and can find examples of similar enamel decoration on both Norwegian and German pottery, but nothing on a similar pot with sgraffito finish. So I am back to thinking Italy. I can see what you mean about the house and clothing - the house definitely looks Mediterranean, and I'm not sure about the clothes, but the pot just seems to have an Italian feel.
