Large 3kg opal glass bowl unusual design - Ezan?
13" x 4"
Lovely large heavy piece of glass i think it maybe pressed or molded not sure remind's me slightly of lalique.
The base has protrusion's at interval's the inside has a small recess maybe for a flower frog but not too sure not seen another.
Any idea's when or where it was constructed.Thank you for looking.
Nearly forgot seem's to change from a vaseline type color to shade's of blue under different light's

Looks a nice item. Get a UV light on it and report back.

So Opaline, rather than Vaseline.
I wonder if may have had a centrepiece, like a figure?
Jobling maybe?

I have been scooting around the web and i searched for opal glass bowl with icicle's and have had a bit of a hit with a french company called Ezan Art-Deco period who made lighting product's mainly but did make bowl's also, More interestingly they seemed to do this icicle pattern quite a bit. Not a lot about them online but some piece's appear to be marked some not although i dont know if this is people trying to sell it as Ezan without the mark's or not. I have been over the bowl with a jeweller's loop and there does seem to be remnants of an acid mark or remains of a label or similar in the centre. Maybe this is Ezan.
