Unusual sculpture ? Ideas welcome.

Purchased this at a boot sale last year, the seller couldn't tell me anything about it. It looks like a tourist piece to my eyes, but what is it & from where does it hail? Nicely framed, measures over 20 inches, so would not have been much fun transporting (if it is a tourist piece). The script suggests some ancient relic. Any ideas welcomed, thank you.

Thank you for the feedback Essenjay. It looks like Rebecca until you get really close. The last two letters are o (with a break) then another o. Not sure what is in between though LOL.
