Interesting. I think it is a bit plain for it to be made by one of his assistants,which would be implied by a W mark. The market that his assistants catered for was furniture/gift shops like Heal's which was almost entirely the 'runic' work.

yes I wanted to rule that out,the line under the W might have been a monogram.
