Porcelain Nerikomi Neriage Agateware Vase marked gO ... or gB?
This vase has been produced using the Japanese kneading technique known as Nerikomi (which literally means 'kneading'). It is also known by another Japanese term 'Neriage'.
It has a wonderfully smooth matt outer surface, and a high gloss inner area, making it a very tactile piece to hold.
It stands 17cm high and its widest diameter is 10cm
It has an impressed mark on the base which could be 'gO'. Then again, this might be "gB" ... What d you think?
This was bought in a charity shop in the West Midlands UK about 12 years ago.

Looks a bit like a mermaid
It’s important that we know where the pot was found. Can you please add that info to the thread, or amend the location on your profile
