Needham Pottery, Norfolk and Suffolk (Mary and Godfrey Newcomb)
The Needham Pottery was established near Harleston in Norfolk by Mary Newcomb in the early 1950s. The pottery mainly produced traditional English slipware for domestic use and for display. When Mary Newcomb’s career as an artist took off in the 1960s, her husband Godfrey took over the pottery. In the early 1970s, the pottery was moved to Linstead Magna in Suffolk, where it continued into the 1980s.
I am writing a history of the Needham Pottery; does anyone have examples of Needham Pottery in their collection, or have personal memories about Mary and Godfrey Newcomb and their pottery?

Fascinating. I’ve only come across a handful of pieces, which are on my Pinterest boards, but I’ve never owned a piece.
