symbols or letters design on stoneware vase it looks alien to me (6 photos)

Hi this one's got me scratching my head. Does anybody know the origin of this stoneware vase and whether the design is symbols or letters? I can't make out the potters mark either

Could my vase be by Robin Hopper as I've just seen another item on 'ID my Pottery' the glaze and colour look very similar on my 4th photo to this below

It does look like a similar glaze but unfortunately not the same mark. Lacock Pottery, Lyndon Thomas of Llanelli, and Cripplesease Pottery, amongst others, used similar glaze and wax resist decoration.
