unidentified Russian? artists

I have many paintings with [as yet] unidentified signatures, here are two watercolours which may be by Russian artists but signed only by monogram...!








The first painting in metal frame is very small and i believe depicts the 'Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood'.

The second larger watercolour with 'sort of' similar [but not the same] monogram depicts an unknown orthodox church perhaps Russian or even Bulgarian...?

I know such unidentified signatures/monograms can be a bit of a nightmare but any help on identifying these artists would be most welcome indeed...!!
