So what do you get your other half for Xmas?  Well this one of course! Amanda Popham works on the Devon border and is a member of the Devon Guild. Her work used to sell in Liberty of London for near two decades. Her work is quite striking, some figurative work, but a great deal of the embellishment of the vessel form. This jug is 34 cms high, and is fairly atypical of her work.
#               In recent years, our tastes have veered from the vague Anglo/Oriental ethos of the Leach/Cardew to the more decorative items. Lustre, brighter slipware etc.
