I first met Tony in the 1990s when visiting South Heighton Pottery near Newhaven where he worked alongside Chris Lewis and Ursula Mommens from the late 1980s for around 10 years.


He then set out on his own and had at least two potteries in that part of Sussex for a fairly short time and I believe stopped potting in the early part of this century.


The salt-glazed vase above was made at his second pottery just off the A27 east of Beddingham.

The top mark from recollection is the pottery mark (I can't remember the name) and the bottom one is a T inside a D, his personal seal.
