Even though this might look a bit like part of a drainage system(!) I like it very much. It must have been a bit of a challenge to build it. It stands 35cm/13.75" high, with the widest diameter being 20cm/8" ... it's also heavy! I think it is a vase. The glaze looks a bit like one of Sylvia Hardakers experimental glazes. The stamp is a clear TB.
I would love to know what the glaze is ... who made this ... and perhaps some clarification on WHAT it is - is it an industrial style vase?

Thanks for any ideas. Shocked

Gosh what a great item, I think that's pretty cool! Could it be Tessa Buckley

Interesting olipayton ... someone on the french pottery forum thinks the same ... but I have not noticed anything similar by her on the net so I am inclined to think this is a european piece as NaomiM has suggested.

Could the mark be T6 and not TB? Vest Keramieks code their pieces like that - and they produce ribbed brutalist works ... I'll have another look.

She did use that type of glaze but I don’t know about that style of pot. Her T looks to be a little bit above the B in these examples of her mark
