Heavy cast glass vase
I've had this vase for a while now and not found out anything about it yet.
In style, it's a bit like commonplace cast 1950s glass tableware but the quality is far superior. As you stroke your hand over it, the casting feels smooth rather than sharp like the 1950s stuff.
It's also very heavy. The base is flat (and rather scratched) with the star cut into it. It's 22cm high.
Any ideas?

That thought occurred to me, along with it looking a bit art deco so possibly later - but sadly I know almost nothing about glass.

Are you sure it's cut and not pressed? Looks like a 'Jacobean' style pattern.
