Well made 7” stoneware, chocolate brown glaze with darker decoration, toasted on lower part.
2 marks. SB with WI or W with a bar above.
Maybe SB could be a double strike for SP?
I’m fairly sure I’ve had a Svend Bayer mark combined with another one but I no longer have it to check it.
Any iinfo?

Just read the 5 year thread about who Wayne Hathaway was. Suenoonoo said he worked at Dartington Pottery 1979- 2004.
My jug has an SB mark. Does that mean it’s early in that time frame before the Dartington triangle Mark was used?

Yes, the Dartington Pottery Dart Mark was used later when, in effect, Shinners Bridge became Dartington Pottery; when it was run by Marianne de Trey; presumably sometime in the 80s
