Grey, black and patterned bowl - does anybody recognise the maker? Empty Grey, black and patterned bowl - does anybody recognise the maker?

Hallo all.
I cannot be sure whether the base has a makers mark on this bowl: can anybody recognise the style...or even see a mark?
The bowl is quite heavy and is 8.5cm deep and 15cm in diameter.

Thanks for the suggestion denbydump.
I've had a rummage on the net, but have yet to find similar Portmadoc works.
Can you see any markings on the base? I keep thinking I can see something, but then can't!!
