8” across heavy stoneware dish, browns with blues and purples. What kind of glaze is this?
Reverse toasted finish.
Impressed H Mark - looks from book to be 1953-59 Frank or Janet Hamer when working in Wolverhampton or Yorkshire.
I have had Frank Hamers later work but does this seem right for 1950s work of theirs?

It's not their usual mark, but I cant suggest an alternative atm.
