DECANTER / BOTTLE ID - Cyprus? Mexico?

Hello,

I absolutely love this recently acquired decanter or bottle with stopper.  It is beautifully hand-painted with a ladies face (who looks suspiciously like Frida Kahlo!) surrounded by birds.
It is a very unusual shape, flat on one side and bulbous on the other.  There are the remains of a mark on the base but it has almost disappeared.  It stands 19cms tall.

I would love to know a little more about it, age, country of origin etc.

Could you please show the mark on the bottom. Looks polish.

It looks very familiar. Maybe Greek. Can you re-post the base photo. The system can only cope with 3 photos at a time .
