Anyone recognise this horse or donkey? Empty Anyone recognise this horse or donkey?

This little horse or donkey is signed on the back of his double leg but I can't make it out. I'm not sure about the glaze either. He feels fired, but the blackness scratches off - a bit like when you do burnished clay Raku firings.
