MOVED: Really Sorry. Loads of IDs from my Mum's
Hi everyone!
Apologies in advance. I know I'm being really cheeky and asking you a Antiques Roadshow type IDs and questions but I have nowhere else to turn to except to your generous souls!
The Dear Lady and I have recently helped to excavate (literally in some cases) through the contents of my Mum's house as she is moving into a much smaller house. Cutting a long story short, she asked for me to sell a load of her old crockery however I can, probably a car boot sale, to raise as much as I can for her. I have managed to ID a lot through photos on the internet and such but there is still quite a lot to ID and approximately value.
This is where I wondered if you could help.
I have tried to give as much in the way of clues that I can in the photos.

Re: MOVED: Really Sorry. Loads of IDs from my Mum's
I know that you don't value pieces here, but what I don't want is for my Mum to be sitting on a set that may be worth £100 or more and I've just flogged it for a fiver only to turn up on TV years later selling for a small fortune!
If it's worthless, just let me know!
Many thanks for any responses and again apologies for being cheeky!

Its one ID per post. Otherwise it gets chaotic. We do not give valuations on here I am afraid, as they really can vary widely according to numerous factors. In general pieces from what were large sets, do not sell very well, as large crockery sets are very unfashionable.
As a lot of your pieces are named, your best bet of accessing its saleability is Ebay. On all Ebay searches, if you scroll down there is a tick box named 'sold items'. Tick that, and a list of sold items in thpast few months comes up.

Re: MOVED: Really Sorry. Loads of IDs from my Mum's
Thanks for the reply! The eBay 'sold items' is a new one on me so that really helps.
As I said though, I know now that you don't do valuations, but just don't want to selling something of my Mum's that is quite valuable and I've sold it for a couple of quid. The eBay search really helps for this too.
As long as there's nothing that obviously stands out as valuable, I'm fine really.

Mostly 1950s but minor manufacturers.
The Windsor cups and saucers are pretty, the Japanese like those!
1920s Noritake would have been one of a pair from a dressing table set,
but looks damaged anyway.
Saucers at the bottom look much older, hand-painted 19thC, but without cups.....

Thanks Denbydump. All of that really helps.
There is a cup to go with the bottom saucer, so one set only. However, the handle looks very suspicious to me and doesn't seem in keeping with the rest.

We don’t value items but I have to say that there is nothing of value here. Best to donate them to the charity shop.

Thanks, that is all I wanted to know really.
Just checking we weren't sitting on a fortune as my Mum and my very, very elderly Nan (who my Mum is moving in with to take care of) could do with as much as they can at the moment. Better to be safe than sorry.
Knowing nothing about pottery is never a good place to start when trying to sell it on behalf of someone else! Guitars, ICT equipment or corydoras catfish I could rattle off in no time but pottery has never been my thing!
So again, thank you all for your responses, you have all been very helpful. You've done the forum proud!
