This is a nice, colourful bowl (diameter 14cm) marked with Calicut or Calicot, but I cannot find any information.
Is anyone familiar with this style/maker?

Yes...it looks like a strong possibility. Ideally I'd like to see an example with a signed base...but haven't found one yet.

Hi Tenpot...have you every seen any ceramics similar...with a signature?

Is that Marc Bolan in your ID picture? Takes me back...saw him in Leicester (De Montfort Hall) in the early 70's
