As it’s a known manufacturer I’ve moved it into the British Pottery section. We don’t seem to have a Hammersley thread already so I’ve edited the title to allow people to find it via our search facility and google

On the same topic. I have a Hammersley Rowland Ward Nairobi one pint tankard illustrated with an African Hoopoe. I was given it by my father when I left Kenya in 1967 to attend university in the UK. I have never seen another one.
As I am moving house and everything is in storage, I haven't a decent image, only this crop from a larger photo.
I believe it is similar to this Hammersley tankard (10cm x 10cm) with a plainer handle
I guess they were produced with the six birds. Had anyone seen a similar one?
