Hi

Does anyone know who made this piece in England. The range seems named after the Italian town of Savona and at some stage it's come through the Peripatetic Gallery in Devon.

Is the decoration painted or glazed?
Might be Brentliegh ware or similar.

The “Peripatetic Gallery” was a dealer who sold at the antiques fairs, and supposedly specialised in studio pottery. If he didn’t know who the maker was he just made it up. Best to remove the label

Searching Brentleigh Ware Savona will get you some marked pitchers and vases.
