Looks like an Asian style tenmoku glaze rather than a Bennington treacle glaze, so recent Asian import imo

Pretty sure it's made by a potter that was either from Herefordshire or Shorpshire, with a name something like Vivian Proctor? He made a lot of cats, the style and glaze looks spot on. He's not well known, so finding anything may be difficult.
