Pastel bowl, tricky mark AB / JHB... Empty Pastel bowl, tricky mark AB / JHB...

I’m scratching my head trying to interpret this mark at one stage i thought it was AB, then i thought JHB now I think could be APL / HPL ?.?.?  Opinions very welcome... And if you recognise the potter Extremely grateful..
