Hi

Just really dig these two bowls. Circle in K made me think of Michael Cardew, is that correct?

Some more images to help. Proud deep marks on the bigger bowls and certainly looks similiar to the Kingwood mark form however a little broader in the K and the lower leg does not meet the upper arm offset but directly n the middle?

These are good and resonate

All these views and no one can dispute or acknowledge the mark, very few around from the time to compare.

I think they are.

Doesn’t look like the same shape of K as Kingwood. I don’t know it.

Well I always appreciate your knowledge Naomi - Seems very few examples of the K mark to compare with. This does seem a little keen and deep and they are on a whole set of domestic tableware bowls not one offs.

The half gloss glaze sides are rather different also, however well potted pieces and with no other examples of the mark around I personally wouldn't close the book on them being Kingwood examples.

The Kingwood K is narrower, and the lower \ starts from the upper /. Whereas on yours both / and \ start from the spine |

Kingswood Michael Cardew items are very rare. Doubt if I have seen more than one or two at auction in 25 years of collecting. Where did you get this?
