Could anyone identify the age or maker from the photos please. stands 7” high.

it's from the Westerwald area of Germany but dating it is tricky

Thanks Dan, I shall start there with some research. Is it the design itself that identifies it from Westerwald? It’s in perfect condition.

no, the horse design is not that common but the stoneware body and decoration technique is pure Westerwald, as is the glaze
