Lovely soup bowl - deceptively difficult mark

Hallo all.
This is a delightful soup bowl, or at least I think its a soup bowl. Lovely design and colours...11cm diameter and 6.5cm tall.
I though this mark would be simple to identify through Fornier as it looks like an 'S' in a square. However, I couldn't find it and I began to wonder whether it wasn't a square owing to what looks like an additional line on the outside. So, maybe the 'S; is not really an 'S' or the maker is from outside of the UK.
Does anybody recognise the style or mark?
