Unknown signature on plate stand Empty Unknown signature on plate stand

Hi, I bought this plate stand which has cherries on the top and three small pottery feet approx 3 to 10 years ago! To be honest I am not sure how long I have had it. I am now looking to sell it, but can't make out the signature of the potter who made it. Attached are photos of the plate and the signature. I also took a pencil rubbing of the signature, but again I found this very difficult to decipher.

THe “ above one of the letters points to a European Pottery but I’m afraid I can’t read the word

I would guess Germany or Bavaria

OK - thanks. That would make sense, as now we think we did buy it abroad. Possibly Germany, but it could also have been somewhere in France.
