Looks very new, toasted outside, nice greyspeckly glaze inside.
E upside down F mark impressed below handle.

Also looks like an MC or MG or MCL monogram at the base of the handle

Leach Pottery apprentices have been making something similar recently. Might be an ex-apprentice who's set up their own studio.

Interesting observation about the Leach apprentices. Had not thought of it, but could well be. When you look at the cup it definitely is in that sort ungainly style that the modern Leach pottery have produced on occasion. ie that top diameter might well make an awkward piece to actually use. Call it the Starbucks fashion. When your large cup is more like a soup dish with a handle on it. Needs two hands to hold it! Laughter

Ungainly? I think it’s rather charming; Zen-like. I’ve seen a number of Japanese influenced pieces like this from recent graduates at the shows
