ID Pottery, Puffin wall plaque, SG mark
I bought 2 pottery puffin wall plaques in a charity shop in Hexham, Northumberland but I am trying to find out the potter who made them. I think the potter who made them may be local but I am not sure. There is a signature on one of them but I cannot make out the exact initials. I would be very grateful if anyone has any information about these items.
I am new to this website so I don't know if you can see the 3 photos I 'think' I have downloaded!

Looking good Although I'll edit the title so it's easier to search for if it takes a while to ID.
Looks like an SG mark

Not in the Marks book. You could try your regional potters association in case they're a member and ever did Open Studios, or save a search on ebay.

Hi NaomiM
Thank you very much for your reply. I'm new to Forums so please forgive my attempts at describing things!
I will try your suggestion and check local potters etc. The potter's initials really could be anything MF, WT, SG etc.
Thanks again.
