Small Pot with Footprint Mark - can somebody please help me identify?
Hallo all.
This small pot (7.5cm) is a delight: nice colours and design.
On the base is a curious mark which resembles (to me) a footprint. My photograph issn't great, so I've tried to highlight it. I couldn't find anything in Fournier to help me identify the maker.
Does anybody recognise the mark or the style of this pot.
Thank you.
Jack.

I think it’s Saundersfoot Pottery, Wales. There are other Potteries that have a footprint mark but the clay and glaze are a better match for Saundersfoot

Thank you Naomi. I struggled with Fournier as I wasn't sure where to start my search...so concentrated on the 'exception' marks towards the back of the book. I noticed a topic in this forum from 2012 (titled "Saundersfoot Pottery") with a mark looking exactly like mine, but as you say the glaze looks different.I think I shall have to look into more of the Saunderfoot examples.
Thank you
Jack
