Any thoughts on these initials or mark?
Bowl measures 8" wide and just over 3" tall.
Thick tenmoku glaze with blue and rust color underneath.

Could the 77 be 1977? Looks quite an accomplished piece with some Japanese influence. Have you tried looking through the American Studio Marks data base? On this link. https://www.themarksproject.org/

Hi, thanks for writing. I really love this bowl, the glaze is really spectacular in person. I thrifted it in Metro Detroit for $2. Yes, I did search through the Marks Project and the British & Irish Studio Marks page, eBay listings, and some general google & Pinterest searches and didn’t see anything. I always try to throughly dig before posting an inquiry here 🙂. Well, the search continues- thanks again for responding!
