I have this large Aldermaston bowl with a stylised J G signature. The only potter I can see on the list with those initials is a Janet Green, but can find no information. I have contacted a Janet Green who might have fitted the bill but is now a NZ potter and it's not her. Does anyone know if this is the right name or have any thoughts on the signature .

Ian - Welcome. Small chance it's by someone who left the pottery and changed their mark. Certainly looks Aldermaston related.

Definitely looks like an Aldermaston trained potter, but not a mark I've come across, sorry

You could try asking some other Aldermaston potters like Ursula to see if they remember them
