ELIZABETH (LIZ) RAEBURN.

ELIZABETH (LIZ) RAEBURN (1943-) started her career in 1975 making domestic ware and decorated bowls in low temperature stoneware. From 1981 she specialised in handbuilt Raku. She became one of Britiain's most accomplished Raku potters with shows at Galleries like the legendary Galerie Besson. She has shared a studio with Rodney Lawrence since 1975. Her mark is as shown in photo 1. An  Impressed Shamrock type pottery mark and impressed personal name initial. These vases illustrated here are 19 cms and 17,5 cms resppectively, with illustrations on different sides.
