Eschenbach, which was originally based in the Bavarian town of Windischeschenbach, is still producing porcelain at its factory in Triptis in Thurigia, Germany. The main production is of hotel and restaurant wares but they still make some domestic lines.

These cups and saucers are from a set of 6, and I think I may have the coffee pot, cream jug and sugar bowl in one of the boxes in my loft. If I come across them I'll add photographs. The decoration is pure 1970s - was orange and brown ever in fashion outside of that decade? - although the lack of 'West' before 'Germany' suggests either a post-reunification date of manufacture or use of a pre-division era stamp.
