Salt pig, MH mark

Mystery MH mark. Similar to Marie Hamer’s mark but not sure it’s hers. Several sgraffito vases with the same mark attributed to Marie Hamer but one of her relatives said they are not her style of pottery

Wondering if it might be Mark Hewitt who had a very similar mark whilst at Wenford Bridge, although it would be accompanied by the pottery mark as well. Not sure of his marks going on from there or his work timeline but is now in the USA with a very different mark. He did always seem to make utilitarian pieces though....

That is a thought. His mark at Wenford was an “outie” MH, where as this is an “innie”, although he did have various versions, including a MWH stamp.
