Designers who worked at Elsterwerda
Ursula Fesca (1928-1931)
She was in charge for the dekors Not for the shape. Prior to this she worked at the Steingutfabrik Velten-Vordamm (1925-1928). Later she worked for Waechtersbach und Fürstenberg.
Siegfried Möllers (1930-1931)
His function was to setup a "Kunstkeramische Werkstatt" (roughly translatet to artistic ceramic studio). He wasn't in charge for the design, but he did it unasked and made a wonderfull job.
Erich Krause (1932-?)
He became Obermaler (kind of chief painter) for the dekors. Prior to this he worked from 1928-1932 at Carstens in Gräfenroda. Thatswhy goods from this time of both companies looks very similar.
Gret(e) Gottschalk
No more information available at present.
Franz Eggert
He was in charge for the glazes. No more information available at present.

Re: Elsterwerda (East Germany)
Fritz - these are very helpful indeed - thank you. Would you mind also adding your marks photos to the Gallery?

This labels were probably used after Siegfried Möller setup a "Kunstkeramische Werkstatt" (roughly translatet to artistic ceramic studio) in 1930.
Not all items of Elsterwerda were marked, but very typically are the handwritten numbers and signs one can see on the third and second pic to the left.

Hi!
A pair of candlesticks unfortunally without any stamp number but marked Handarbeit and my guess is that they are from the ceramic studio. Yours Chrille
