Sweet little stoneware bottle vase. Unsigned.

Just under 3" high, well made and with simple brushed decoration. Possibly intended as an ink bottle or brush washer. No marks at all.

It was probably made in the 1970s and, if marked at all, it would have had a sticky label that is long gone. Even if someone has something with a label that looks similar to my mind that wouldn't prove it to be by the same person. There must have been hundreds of people making this kind of thing back then.

Looks like the faint remains of a sticky label on the base, which points to a British piece rim the 70s, although it does have a nice Japanese vibe. I wonder if it’s by someone like Joe Finch
