VEB Haldensleben
Started life as J Uffrecht & Sons, later purchased by Carstens and renamed Carstens Uffrecht, taken over by the DDR state after World War 2 and renamed VEB (Volkseigener Betrieb).
Most companies in DDR were VEB which loosely translated means owned by the people.

Re: VEB Haldensleben (East Germany)
Another one from this weekends 'job lot'.
It had a dealers label of Bay Keramik attached.
But I think I've managed to ID it correctly as Haldensleben
Just pleased to be able to ID it when I know nothing about this stuff.
Shape is correct and the number style looks to be right.
14.5cm tall, aprox 11cm at widest point.
It's actually growing on me the more I look at and handle it.
