Re: Rörstrand (Sweden)
'Oliv' series centrepiece bowl with moulded foot. Quite impressive that they spent time decorating it to the underside, even though no one would ever see if whilst in use.
No designer marks, and Googling yields nothing useful. Anyone know the designer and/or age? I'm always out of my comfort zone when it comes to pottery and the like.

Don't know Nic, it looks 1950's to me and they had an army of designers to choose from , Ed

Re: Rörstrand (Sweden)
Possibly Gunvor Olin Gonquist (spelling might be iffy) - sometimes his items are marked with a 'GOG' on the back but not always - this green seems to be a colour he/she used a lot. Might be worth investigating even if just to rule out.

Re: Rörstrand (Sweden)
Just spotted this here:
http://monstermonstret.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
It attributes the design to Gunnar Nylund, c.1950/60, but I've not been able to back up this claim elsewhere online.
I searched for Gunvor Olin Gronquist, but couldn't find any reference to this series.

Re: Rörstrand (Sweden)
I think the attribution to Gunnar Nylund is based on the fact that he did similar bowls with a radiating pattern for Nymolle - see my posting in the Nymolle thread
https://servimg.com/view/12545341/19
However, the base is slightly different and Gunnar tended to use matt glazes.

More 'Bla Eld' - a very nice teardrop shaped plate.

Re: Rörstrand (Sweden)
Thought you may be interested in these examples of Rorstrand Gratina (the maroon) and Canaria (which I love and is the yellow)... They actually work quite well together I think!
Excuse the poor quality of the photo, but it was taken as we were in the process of moving.
Cheers!

here is an early Carl Harry Stalhane piece,I'm guessing it's pre 1950 but would appreciate some help dating it

Inger Persson
One of the less well recognized designers at Rorstrand is Inger Persson, her brightly coloured POP teapot in the 60s is probably her best known design, but I have always liked these little balloon vases with their slightly wonky shape and matte finish - very tactile. I ahve never been able to date them accurately, I guess 1960s but if anyone knows better.....

Dating A Rorstrand Mark
I've got this beautiful Rorstrand vase (pic and mark attached), and I'm trying to find some insight as to the date it was produced. I've had opinions of everywhere from 1890-1950. Any help would be appreciated.

Picknick bowl by Marianne Westman - I think this is a 60s original, I know they have reissued the range recently.

Found this in a local charity shop.
1950s Gunnar Nyland (GN) Rorstrand dish, 10" long (But not as nice as that blue teapot at the top of the thread):
